Mentor Profile
Inna Zapadynska
Biography:
Hi there! I'm Inna Zapadynska, originally from Ukraine and raised in Brooklyn, NY. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Human Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Hunter College. I am currently in the process of applying to medical school and recently moved to Lake Placid, where I love hiking, golfing, and fishing in the Adirondacks!
Over the past few years, I've taught introductory biology at Baruch College, guiding both majors and non-majors, and acting as their unofficial Pre-Health advisor. This role has been incredibly fulfilling, as I've had the opportunity to help students from various backgrounds navigate college, the pre-health track, and biology! My experience primarily involves working with low-income, immigrant, and underserved communities, but my passion for making an impact extends beyond these groups. I am thrilled to join NPREMA and make a difference!
